Move on, ain’t nothing to see but a mouth opening to say bullshit disguised as words offering comfort and security and confirming friendship and the script calls for them to walk off the stage when the scene is over and you don’t realize you’re even on a stage but to reiterate move on, ain’t nothing to see because it’s all bullshit because words mean nothing if they’re not followed up with action, which is never done and you don’t realize this because you believe what your so called friends say and they leave walking off the stage into the sunset walking away in the opposite direction of you they walk and they walk and walk away until you can't see them anymore despite they're promise to return, to be there for you or with you - they gone.
So, move on, ain’t nothing to see. Nothing but fake people.
In a one-man (or woman) play.

I love this.."Move on because words mean nothing if they’re not followed up with action". Nice piece.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Becqui!
ReplyDeleteBroken promises can indeed be a good indicator it is time to move on. 'words mean nothing if they’re not followed up with action'...so true.
